After much thought (and some pretty mediocre sales) we have decided to develop a Lite/Free version of the application. This will have all of the facilities of the full application but will be limited to just 10 activities.
Our views on this are mixed, on the one hand it does give users the opportunity to try before buying, however on the flip side is the fact that the key of the application is the content of the application...it's a bit like being given the first 10 pages of an encyclopedia. We know that this may entice more people to buy the app, but we are more interested in making applications that people find useful than making a lot of money (not that we're adverse to money, it's just not our main motivation).
Anyway the free version has been released to Apple for review and should be available shortly.
Perhaps the most significant change is to the user experience. We have added some very clear visual clues to the display and finding specific assessments should now be much easier, as users can see some core data about each activity without actually going in to the activity screen.
