This is one of the two key areas where Clinical Hypnosis has been developed and extended and has been shown time and again to be effective. There are numerous studies that have shown the efficacy of Hypnosis when dealing with medical problems, and it has been shown to be highly effective in the management of pain (both chronic and acute) and is even being used to support post-operative recovery.

There is a great deal of evidence to support the use of hypnosis for patients with Cancer and other long term diseases, not as a replacement for treatment but as a supplement to those treatments offered by conventional medicine. 

Hypnosis and self-hypnosis have been found to be particularly effective for patients undergoing intensive therapies (chemotherapy, radiotherapy etc) in the management of side effects. I offer a drastically reduced rate for individuals who are unfortunate enough to find themselves in this situation, and am happy to do group work for those organisations who would benefit from this.

Due to the nature of many of these conditions it is important for us to get consent from either your GP or your Consultant prior to any work.
