Accessible Self Help for All
I woke up one day and realised that all of the tools, techniques and approaches that I had learnt over the years were really useful and effective and that everyone should have the opportunity to gain these skills. That was easy to say, but in reality I had spent £000's on training courses, probably as much again on books, audio and self study courses, and more than 15 years in study and application of the knowledge and I knew that not everyone could afford it, in fact very few people could afford it, more importantly they didn't need it.
At this point I started to give up, I realised that most couldn't afford the cost or the time needed, they had lives to get on with. And then it came to me. Cars.
There are millions of cars on the road, and yet the vast majority of people no little or nothing about their car except where the fuel goes and how to drive it. In reality, that is all they need.
Then there is the mechanic who knows everything there is to know about the car, they fix them, modify them and put them back together after a crash. They spend lots of time in training courses and practicing their skills.
And then I had it. I will create courses for people who want to be better drivers, know how to check their own oil, metaphorically speaking, and from that first concept Achieving Greatness was born.
I developed a range of workshops that were easily accessible, pocket friendly that got results without huge investment in time or money, that anyone could attend and get positive benefit from. I also decided that these programs needed to be as easy to access as possible, and so I decided that these workshops would take place all around the country.
So we offer a range of workshops on self help topics, close to where people live. That was, and is our mission, and it will continue to be for as long as we are in business.
